warm enough (for Grissom) to have a run through the sprinklers.
A balmy 73 degrees so far today, yay!
I was just watering the weeds grass and flowers, when
Little G begged me to let him have a “sprinkler shower.”
We did a bit of yard work (front) on Saturday…it’s so nice to be out
and about in our yards, having fun. This is my favorite time of year.
I’ll have to take some pictures of our new plant friend, her name is Jasmine…
Jasmine is a jasmine and I can’t wait to smell her lovely jasmine scent, come late
spring.
I hope everyone is enjoying their spring filled days, just as much as I am.

Ok, Cody and I were talking and loving all over these adorable 5 weeks old (tomorrow) kittens and realized, I didn’t blog about them! There must be something wrong with me! How could we not show off these cuties??? Sophie had five kittens on Easter morning…yep, right when we were stuffing our selves silly with chocolate bunnies opening up Easter baskets, we heard a “yelp!” A few hours later…we had these little guys plus one…Squeakers was a runt, and passed away about a week later. *sniff *
This was the same week we lost Mollie and to top it all off, one of our goldfish had to be flushed, followed very soon after by our brother in law having major spinal surgery…so, it was quite a busy few weeks for us.
Right now though, there is just so much cuteness in this house, it’s crazy! Cody wants to keep ALL of them!? He is crazy! Tweedle Dee has a special thing for Cody, so maybe we can keep her? We’ll see. Also, I am in love with Ainsley, she is so beautiful!
Anyone- want a cute kitty?
I am currently working on a painting project:
sanding, painting and staining a couple of end tables…
I am extremely happy with my first table and will take
some pics soon. It looks so cool, I can’t wait to get the
second one done.
Grissom and daddy having some boy time…shaving! Too cute!
We have a busy weekend ahead of us, Madison, Sam and Mallorie
will be in the Apple Blossom parade tomorrow…I’m sure pictures
will ensue. The carnival is in town, so I’m sure will go…the kids
won’t shut up let us forget about that one.
Lots and lots of yard work needs to be done as well…if weather permits!
That’s asking a lot, around here. (Cody is secretly hoping for rain, I’m sure! Hehe!)
I need to put bark out around my roses in the front yard…they are looking
beautiful already…I’ll have to take pictures.
Well, I guess that’s all folks…have a glorious weekend y’all!
This is our 100th post…Yay! So, we thought it would be fun, if I did 50 things about Cody and he will do 50 things about me. Here goes:
Fifty things that I would like to say about Kimberlie:
John “Cody” Rose…and he is probably related to most of them! He!He!
Madison Rose…only 3
John “Sam” Rose…same as his Dad.
Mallorie Rose… 0 which means it’s very uncommon…
Grissom Rose… 0 which means it’s very uncommon…
