I’m Back!
Hey guys! So sorry for not sharing in such a long time… I’ve been super busy around here trying to organize and pretty much just dealing with all that mommy stuff. It is nice to see that I CAN put blogging on the back burner for a little while…
Not that I didn’t think about blogging, Cody says that I have blogging on the brain. I really should have a pen a paper attached to me (along with my camera) so that I can jot down some of the things I want to share. As soon as I have time to blog my mommie brain leaves me with a blank stare at the screen…
Hmmm! What to write??
Let’s see Grissom has turned into a little artist…asking me to paint with him, wanting to color and he loves to cut with scissors now! I have had such a hard time with him NOT wanting to do any of these things ever and now I can’t keep the crafts coming fast enough!
Mallorie loves to sing in choir and gets to sing at the spring dance in a couple of weeks. She is so cute, choir practice is at 7:45 am everyday and she is up and ready first thing…she can’t miss a practice! I will have to sneak a video of her singing one of her favorite songs, she loves Hannah Montana and Carrie Underwood!
Sam has been having a lot of dad time! When Cody has been home the two have been building their own radio and some other electric doohickies? Seems like they are having a great time, Sam has a question for everything lately….
Madison is excited because she will be taking a babysitting class they offer at the YMCA,as soon as mommie signs her up…
It won’t be until after May though she has to be 12…we have let her watch Grissom and Mallorie for an hour while Cody and I go to the store, she does a great job! We of course have a lot of rules and I’m constantly calling them to check in…Cody and I do enjoy the time alone.
The kids are begging us for a RAT! Ahhh! Their friend across the street, Abby has one and Lola (rat) had 12 babies yesterday! No!
N! O! Yuck! Abby’s family loves Lola and they even let her(Lola)clean their teeth!?!
Now, if only I had said N! O! about getting the dogs! Cooper has been just fine, Mollie is our little escape artist…shepherds like to roam and that is all she has on her mind lately. The dog is smart too, she finds a new way to get out of the yard everyday! I have had to put her on a chain tied up…oh well! I totally have changed into a cat lover!
Wow! This is a pretty boring post…I feel like I’m just pulling things out of my @#%! Hopefully something more exciting will come up! I have to get to work now! Toodles!

Teeth & Hair
Sam & Grissom
We had a busy day yesterday with dentists appointments for
all and hair cuts!
We thought we were getting out of the dentist cavity free…
Grissom was the last one out and the little guy has a small cavity.
He’ll have to have it filled in May…that will be a lot fun!
Good news for the other kiddos *cavity free*!!!
Now we planned on getting hair cuts all along and it’s a good
thing we did. Poor Sam…at least two different women thought
he was a girl! After that he said “I’m getting it cut!”
Samantha no more! Love you Sam!
Let’s see after that we just got a few things done around
the house and relaxed together…
Cody started on my hat and it is gorgeous! I will post a
picture of it soon. I got Cody a new set of adjustable
knitting needles for his birthday, something he has been
asking for… He is so excited to get to use them on my
hat. So glad you like them honey…
Here is a Grissom funny:
Grissom went to the bathroom and washed his hands,
he then came to me and said:
Grissom: knock! knock!
Mom: who’s there?
Grissom: Cody
Mom: Cody who?
Grissom: Coldy hands all over your feet! Ha! ha!
His hands were freezing cold and he
put them all over my feet…
He is so sagacious! (My new word of the day)
Happy Birthday to my nephew ‘CHARLIE’ !!!
Sixteen years old today and driving! Ahhh!
Hope you have a glorious day Charlie!

Happy Birthday!!!!
Ha! Ha! Your gettin’ older! Ha! Ha! Ha-Haa! Ha!
We’re back in the same demographic!
Anywho, Cody made out today from the kids…
I let the older kids walk to Walgreens with ten dollars in hand.
Mallorie bought her Daddy a ‘report cover’ in blue just because
he might need it for his school…too cute!
Madison bought a travel coffee mug and two candle holders/with candles.
“For a romantic night” Madison said.
Sam gave his Dad an envelope filled with change that he found
on the floor in his room. Such a thoughtful child, isn’t he?
Grissom was gracious enough to give his Daddy all of his germs…
A kiss and a sneeze…bless you Grissom!
I got to make him dinner, my version of cordon bleu…
with broccoli and roasted red potatoes with a red pepper too!
The best compliment, I think is when there are no left~overs…
My kids could eat broccoli at every meal and be so happy, they love it!
The kids and I had fun making one cake and 24 cup~cakes for the
birthday boy… yellow cake with chocolate frosting…his fav!
Again I wasn’t prepared for everything…the candles! I always forget
the stinkin’ candles! So we used what we had…pink and only 24 of them!
The kids and I lit the lovely ‘pink’ candles, just as Cody gets a phone call from
work! As you can see in the picture above the phone conversation lasted a bit
too long…
Finally…a wish was made!
